Handcrafted in ItalyHandcrafted pendant depicting the Paleolithic Venus figurine discovered in Willendorf, Austria in 1908. Estimated to be over 25,000 years old, very little is known about the origins or purpose of this statuette.
Standing at only 11.1 cm, the statuette is considered one of the oldest depictions of Venus and the oldest discovered work of art. Historians have suggested that she is a fertility figure, a good-luck totem, and mother goddess symbol.
